| National Save the Sea Turtle Foundation Celebrates our 10th year EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR KIDS. |
|
National Save The Sea Turtle Foundation children's education programs include Boy and Girl Scout marine life protection seminars held at the international Game Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum in Dania Beach, Florida. Over 3,000 scouts, troop leaders and teachers have participated in our education programs since inception (see www.igfa.org and view education youth programs).
The National Save The Sea Turtle Foundation, established in 1987, plays a key role in education, protection, and awareness to save endangered sea turtles and their environment. Kids love waterway and beach cleanups. The Foundation sponsors and participates in all local cleanups where children and parents are welcome. A fun way for the kids to have a closer relationship with marine life, the ocean and nature is adopting a sea turtle nest. This program helps safeguard the endangered sea turtles. |

| This exhibit extends our educational reach at IGFA museum, where we sponsor sea turtle protection seminars for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. We hope the exhibit will raise concern in all who visit the museum for the sea turtle and its plight. It's through the cooperative efforts of organizations such as the IGFA that we may gain the momentum in the struggle to get the sea turtle removed from the endangered species list. |
