Nicholas Andrew Speights died in a tragic accident in 2006. He was only 6 years old. He loved the Sea Turtles and spent every summer with family in Akumal, Mexico. Akumal means Turtle Bay. He loved to watch the Sea Turtles bobbing their heads above the water. He had a plush Sea Turtle that he carried with him wherever he went. I know that you love the sea turtles, and that you have done plenty of traveling with your father so I thought that ensuring the safe travel of a nest of sea turtles to their new home would be an appropriate memorial for your father. Your father was such a kind man that I am certain that he would be glad to offer a helping hand. This will be one more traveling adventure to add to all of your memories and pictures of travel with your father.

Pat Dowey's mission is to save the turtles. I'm sure Mark would be pleased that we made a donation to her passionate worthy cause.. Although Brian and I are Mark's first cousins we haven't seen each other for years My recollection enjoyed the Mark was a tall handsome cool guy. My memories go back to hanging out with my Aunt Rosemary and Mark as an infant when .Every thing I learned about babies was from my Aunt . Our mother worked so Aunt Rosemary used to watch Brian and I during the Summer month. I was a grown up 12 year .old ,'
. Brian connected with Mark and Eddie on Dauphin Island where they all enjoyed each others company. But distance eventually separated the guys.
We just regret we didn't make an effort to connect more wit Pat and Mark.
